Our client was after a new plinth tray solution to offer to newsagents who were presently stacking their daily newspapers on the bottom shelf with disregard to the quality of presentation and to attracting a potential sale when their newspaper was displayed out of eye level. The solution had to be individual, resolve any overlapping and it had to catch the customers attention when approaching the shelving display.
The unit had to be robust, have the ability to display interchangeable messaging and most importantly be cost effective.
The unit was manufactured in sheet metal and we introduced an angled lip that overhung the front shelf edge where we could attach a large ticket channel on the front for displaying messages that would attract the consumers eye to the paper on the bottom shelf. We added attractive side curves to stop any side titles overlapping the product, all within the clients budget.
