The challenge
To stimulate sales growth of the New Musical Express magazine, the publishers decided to offer the magazine free to readers, increasing the number of copies distributed by edition ten fold. The magazine would be given away in Top Shop, HMV, Sainsburys and local universities.
ATL was selected as the chosen partner to design and manufacture the metal stacker unit, eventually distributing over 300 displays across the UK to the independent locations.
The brief
The unit had to be cost effective, robust and deliver a clear message to the passing consumer to take a complimentary magazine. Additionally, the header had to be adaptable to vary a differing message, with an upcoming campaign for a new Adidas training shoe.
The result
A sleek, efficient display with a minimal foot print, painted black to give it a little ‘rock and roll’ appeal, all within the client’s budget and all logistics handled and delivered within the proposed schedule.
